ABENA doubles online activities with new resource-saving solution
A solution that makes it possible to streamline operations and not least the expansion of the current digital solution.
ABENA is a Danish, family-owned production and trading company headquartered in Aabenraa. The company was founded in 1953 - and just like back then, they are still characterized by a Southern Jutlandic corporate culture where ethics, environment and good business acumen are paramount. With around 25,000 products and operations in more than 60 countries, they are one of the major players in the market.
The challenge
ABENA has been working with Dynamicweb for a long time, but its ambitions in the online area have continuously grown, leading to the launch of over 30 individual websites.
In the spring of 2015, ambitions are growing even further. Specifically, they are facing a doubling of current activities. ABENA realizes that if they don't want to double the marketing department, they need to do something new - they need to find a solution on how to work more efficiently.
The solution
ABENA wanted a new Dynamicweb-oriented production model and found the Co3 solution Espresso. The solution enables ABENA to easily and simply create multiple websites based on a single master. This means that existing design and content can be reused in several different contexts and that the marketing department can eliminate many of the traditional and manual work processes.
In addition, ABENA is provided with the Espresso toolbox, which is an efficient and user-friendly supplement to the Dynamicweb platform.
The result
With the new solution, ABENA has achieved a "second to none" solution, which makes it possible to streamline the operation and not least the expansion of the current digital solution. Specifically, ABENA expects to be able to double their online activities with +50 new sites, but still within the framework of the current marketing department - and with a minimum of external assistance.
