bellissa HAAS GmbH is leading in metal and gardening supply in the DACH region and wants to bring nature into the customers’ garden, balcony or living room. The company was founded in 1988 by the Haas family and they have since been able to expand their B2B partner network to over 5,000 retailers such as DIY stores and garden centers. In 2021, the company has decided to enter the B2C market as well.

bellissa HAAS is a company that aims to brighten up the lives of its customers. This includes an aesthetic website that offers customers a unique shopping experience. They seeked to introduce a B2C webstore that also inspires customers to create projects in nature and tells stories about the products.

"We decided after 30 years as a wholesale partner to [add a Direct 2 Consumer strategy]. And as you can imagine, end consumers need different storytelling, they need different information than for example B2B partners." – Birgit Kocher, Head of Product Management and Innovations, bellissa HAAS.

bellissa had previously worked with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and wanted more control over their product information. They wanted more structure and streamlined processes related to product enrichment.

The integration with Business Central and DynamicWeb PIM has automated many internal processes and product information is now presented immediately enriched on the website

The new website perfectly reflects bellissa's brand identity. On the one hand it is their corporate website, which can inspire, inform, and tell stories; on the other hand it is a B2C web shop. It also includes a customer portal where customers can view their previous orders; and a dealer search that makes it quick and easy to find the 5,000+ bellissa dealers.

Stronger brand identity and market position

Two months after the new bellissa website went live, they already saw an increase of 62% in the number of visitors.

The new bellissa B2C webshop meets all expectations in terms of design and functionalities. The platform is fully responsive and available in 3 languages to reach customers and partners in an extended market.

The integration with Business Central and DynamicWeb PIM has automated many internal processes and product information is now presented immediately enriched on the website. This saves bellissa time and reduces the risk of manual errors.
