Fully-fledged web-based fuels trading application with NAV integration for VARO's B2B customers with real-time price settings and changes.
VARO is a supplier of high-quality fuels for various types of customers and industries in North-West Europe. VARO produces and distributes from Switzerland, Germany, France and the Benelux, including transport fuels, heating fuel and biofuels.
As a replacement for the outdated (SPOT) fuel trading system, VARO searched for a business partner who could come up with, implement and integrate new ideas and suitable business solutions with the existing ERP systems.
In this broad spectrum of wishes and requirements, Bluedesk had to realize a new online platform, initially focused on the Benelux and in the second phase focused on Switzerland, Germany and France. Within the different countries, several companies operate with specific work processes, which means that the basis of the new myVARO business application must be sufficiently flexible to be able to anticipate on this.
The myVARO fuels trading application is one of the most important "life veins" for the VARO wholesale organization and must publish real-time price settings and changes. To which VARO customers can respond immediately with: "orders" and "bids & quotations", a not unimportant fact!
As a business partner, Bluedesk provided business consultancy, development of the online application and integration with Navision in this process, whereby DynamicWeb serves as the basis for the myVARO fuel trading application. Bluedesk has developed a fully-fledged web-based front-end application for VARO's B2B customers on the DynamicWeb platform.
The DynamicWeb platform provides Multi-language, eCommerce, Content Management and E-mailing facilities for the different countries and business units. This is achieved through a clear separation of business functionalities per business unit. A platform where VARO can continue to develop in various areas and integrate with current and future systems.
