The Challenge
WEH GmbH’s old webshop for B2B commerce ran on an old Magento 1.0 solution – with support running out in this year. Finance & Operations will be implemented for WEH GmbH within the next months which is why a new B2B platform should offer a standard integration component to D365 F&O and streamline existing business logic and processes.
Furthermore, the platform should be configurator ready to enable customers when buying high complexity products.
The Solution
The solution that WEH found together with DynamicWeb is a two-phased approach. In the first phase, DynamicWeb has implemented a Turnkey B2B eCommerce Platform with an integrated PIM system to get WEH and their customers up running as fast as possible. In a second phase it will then be integrated with one of DynamicWeb's 3rd party configurator partners to offer highly configurable products.
This approach allows for a headstart for WEH and their customers while their F&O and configurator is still worked on.
The Result
The finished WEH B2B webshop meets all expectations in terms of design and functionalities. The platform is fully responsive and available in 5 languages to reach customers and partners in an extended market.
The integration with F&O and DynamicWeb PIM has automated many internal processes while ensuring that customers get the correct price from F&O. This saves WEH time and reduces the risk of manual errors.
Overall, the DynamicWeb eCommerce suite has helped WEH deliver an outstanding customer experience while improving customer acquisition and retention capabilities. WEH now works with a consolidated B2B eCommerce, PIM and Content Management in one platform which improves internal control, resource allocation and accelerates results.
